ABSTRACT

Pandemic COVID-19 encouraged Indonesia retail migrate their business to e-commerce, especially e-marketplace or online shop. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship of e-trust and e-satisfaction in building e-loyalty. This study also aims to examine the impact of e-coupon, information quality and financial risk on e-trust and e-satisfaction. This study is one of the few studies that examine the relationship of e-coupon, e-satisfaction, e-trust, and e-loyalty simultaneously. The population of this study is Indonesia consumers that already shopping online through e-marketplace. This study employs a structural equation model (SEM) PLS to analyze the research model and data. This study uses non-probability - quota sampling to collect data. The samples were collected through online questionnaires from 423 online shop customers in Indonesia. The result found that e-trust and e-satisfaction are essential factors in developing e- loyalty toward Indonesia's online shop in pandemic COVID-19. This study also found that e-coupon and information quality have an essential role in building e-satisfaction and e-trust. The finding from this study has a theory and practical implications. © 2023 EDP Sciences. All rights reserved.

ABSTRACT

Indonesia has experienced the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. The number of people who have been confirmed positive has now approached 5, 505, 000 with the number of deaths approaching 148, 000 people per February 26, 2022. About 52% out of more than 208 million targeted people had completed the 2nd vaccination. Our paper aims to provide detailed reporting and analyses of the present rapid responses to COVID-19 up to the end of February 2022 in Indonesia. We particularly highlight responses taken by the governments, non-government organizations, and the community. We outline gaps and limitations of Indonesia's responses to the development of the COVID-19 pandemic and the success stories to overcoming it. We present some strategies and recommendations toward more rapid, effective, and comprehensive current responses as well as for post-epidemic. © TheEditor(s) (ifapplicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2021, 2022.

ABSTRACT

This study examines the role of cultural adoption in moderating the relationship of country image to corporate image and brand image to brand attitude and purchase intention to foreign brands. During the COVID-19 pandemic, data collection was conducted online for Indonesian people interested in the Japanese restaurant Sushi Tei. The data collected from 171 respondents were analysed with partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that only corporate image and brand image were found to significantly affect brand attitude and purchase intention, while country image was insignificant. Furthermore, in the moderation test, the homologiser moderation effect was found. Culture adoption did not moderate any relationships between the conceptualised variables, but what was found was a significant relationship between culture adoption and brand attitude. The mediation test found that brand attitude partially mediated the relationship between corporate image, brand image, and purchase intention. This study also discusses its implications, both theoretically and practically, and its implications for future studies. © 2022 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.. All rights reserved.

ABSTRACT

Particulate matter is one of the threatening pollutants harmful to health. Currently, many researchers focus on the problem of PM2.5 concentrations in urban areas. This study aims to estimate the spatial distribution of PM2.5, and identify human behavior on air pollution in Jakarta. The method used were Spline with Tension to build the PM2.5 models, and multiple linear regression models to analyze human behavior on air pollution. The results showed that the annual average of PM2.5 in the last two years tends to be high in western, southern, and eastern parts of Jakarta. In addition, there was a decrease of PM2.5 concentration in 2020 compared to 2019 assumed as a result of Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions. Besides, analysis results showed a significant association between knowledge and attitude aspects on the action aspect. Based on descriptive analysis, people have good knowledge of air pollution and also concern to reduce air pollution. However, the actions for air pollution control are still not maximized which may cause high PM2.5 concentrations in Jakarta. We conclude that to reduce air pollution, the government should focus on the border areas of Jakarta and it can be done by increasing public knowledge and raising awareness for air pollution.

ABSTRACT

The world Health Organization (WHO) declared a pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 or Covid-19 in 2020. Indonesia in one of the countries affected by the Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) for a long time. Education is one aspect of life that is affected. Research on drying is one solution for students to carry out scientific activities at home by utilizing solar energy and natural materials such as radishes as samples. This study found that the thickness of the sample and environmental conditions such as temperature of the surrounding operating conditions affect the drying rate and drying time.

ABSTRACT

During the COVID-19 virus impact on most areas in Indonesia, most of the teaching and research activities done at home. The idea to force the activity at home by giving the idea to research drying operation. It is the sample of how students can apply the drying operation at their home. The idea to dry the potato as the material sample was applied and have given the result the size or shape of the sample, the operation time and temperature impact the drying kinetics. As a result of drying at the open area and naturally were give the information has impacted the rate of drying. The type of shape was the most impacted in comparing the temperature and operation time.
